    Function

The aerospace component  blasting room is mainly used for surface cleaning of aircraft engine blades, precision parts and other components. It can remove metal oxide scale, old coatings and processing residues, and at the same time improve surface roughness through abrasive impact and enhance the adhesion of new coatings.

    Features

High-pressure jetting process: Compressed air is used to drive abrasive materials such as quartz sand and emery to impact the surface of the workpiece at a speed of 50-80 meters per second, achieving efficient cleaning.
Automated processing: Supports robotic arm or gantry crane operation, capable of handling complex structural components and reducing manual intervention.
Dust control: Equipped with a dust removal system and honeycomb sand suction floor to ensure a safe working environment.

    Core system

    House system

It is usually a sturdy steel structure with an internal wear-resistant protective layer (such as manganese steel plate, polyurethane wear-resistant plate). The sealing requirements are extremely high to prevent dust leakage. It features large wear-resistant glass Windows with scratch protection and interlocked safety doors to ensure that it cannot be opened from the outside during sandblasting.

    Blast System

High-intensity shot peening in the aerospace field typically employs high-performance extrusion equipment. The spray gun and nozzle are made of wear-resistant materials.

    Media Recovery & Recycling System

Usually, used abrasives are conveyed to the elevator by screw conveyors or belt conveyors. The elevator then lifts the abrasives vertically to the sorting system, and the qualified abrasives, dust and crushed fine abrasives are separated by wind force. Qualified abrasives are returned to the sandblasting machine for recycling.

    Part Handling System

The aerospace component sandblasting room adopts centralized control by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and integrates HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
Manual operation: For small or complex components, the operator wears a spacesue-style sandblasting suit to perform the operation.

Automated operation: For large quantities or critical components (such as engine blades), multi-axis robotic arms or turntable/roller conveyor systems are used for automated sandblasting
