The core working principle is as follows: Metal wire is made to pass through the shot blasting chamber at a constant speed in a straight line. Meanwhile, the blast wheel sprays shot (steel shot or wire cut shot) at high speed onto the surface of the wire from multiple angles. The impact force of the shot is used to remove impurities such as oxide scale, rust layer, welding slag, and oil stains on its surface, and to achieve a certain roughness, preparing for subsequent coating, drawing and other processes.

After the equipment is started, the shot enters the blast wheel through the storage hopper. Under the high-speed rotation of the impeller, it accelerates to tens of meters per second, forming a dense projectile flow that impacts the surface of the wire. The impact force generated by the collision peels off surface impurities and causes slight plastic deformation on the surface of the wire through friction, thereby enhancing hardness and fatigue strength.
Working process
Loading: Place the coiled wire on the wire laying rack.
Threading the wire: Pass the ends of the wire in sequence through the straightening device, the sealed inlet, the shot blasting chamber, and the sealed outlet.
Startup: Start the single wire shot blasting machine, and the drive roller begins to pull the wire forward at a constant speed.
Shot blasting: The wire enters the shot blasting chamber, and multiple shot blasting machines start simultaneously, spraying shot from all directions to strike the surface of the wire.
Circulation and separation: The fallen shot and impurities are collected by the screw conveyor and sent to the separator by the elevator for purification. The clean shot returns to the shot blasting machine.
Dust removal: The dust generated throughout the process is extracted and filtered by the dust removal system.
Winding: The processed and smoothed wire is led out from the other end and wound on the winding frame.Selection considerations
