The KEEJOO brand plate surface pretreatment shot blasting machine is a roller conveyor-type continuous shot blasting system designed for flat or elongated metal components—such as steel plates and structural steel—and is utilized for surface pretreatment prior to processes such as painting, spraying, or bonding. Its primary objective is to remove mill scale, rust, weld slag, and contaminants, thereby achieving a uniform surface roughness (anchor pattern) that provides a reliable substrate for subsequent coatings.
Working Principle
A variable-speed roller conveyor continuously feeds the metal plates into an enclosed chamber of the shot blasting machine. Multiple high-speed blast wheels densely project streams of shot from various angles, powerfully impacting the plate
surfaces to achieve descaling. After the spent abrasive is cleared by a blow-off device, the mixture of shot and dust is collected by a screw conveyor and transported via a bucket elevator to a separator; the cleaned shot is then recycled for reuse, while the dust is channeled into a dust collection system to ensure emissions meet regulatory standards.
